Promoting tourism in Brasov county under Regional Operational Programme
Today, 30 September 2010, from 10.00, in Râsnov, the Minister of Regional Development and Tourism, Elena Udrea, signed five financing contracts under the Regional Operational Programme, which will have a positive impact on tourism in the area.
Under the project "Săcele tourism – potential for regional development"
, the Mayoralty of Săcele will promote the tourism products of this city, will organise cultural and artistic events will create an information portal, aiming that all these would lead to a 20% increase in the number of tourists. The total value of the project amounts to 1,008,541.60 lei, of which the value of the non-reimbursable financing allocated by the MRDT is 795,309.20 lei.
The tourism attractions of the Bran area will also be capitalised through the project "Promoting traditions and customs of Bran area"
, which that will ensure the presence in tourism fairs, the conduct of marketing activities, the creation of an information portal constituted into a guide of the locality and of tourism in the area, the publication of information materials and the organisation of promotional events. The total value of the project amounts to 1.039.254,69 lei, of which the value of the non-reimbursable financing allocated by the MRDT is 813.598,83 lei.
The mayoralty of Fundata, with the help of the project "Developing and strengthening tourism in Fundata commune"
, will promote the rural tourism potential of the commune, benefiting from a non-reimbursable financing of 707,322.76 lei, allocated by the MRDT, the total value of the project being 914,261.60 lei.
The project "Legends of Bârsa Land. Promoting the tourism potential of Bârsa Land”
, with a total value of 1,018,703.4 lei, of which the value of the non-reimbursable financing allocated by the MRDT is 796,284.3 lei, will promote the tourism product "Bârsa Land" and will facilitate public access to complex tourism information.
The Municipality of Brasov, through the project "Brasov – Centre of Romanian tourism”
, will promote the tourism products specific to the city, the “Sărbătoarea Junilor” (Feast of the Young Boys), as well as the Postăvarul Massif landscape reserve. The total value of the project amounts to 990.122,06 lei, of which the value of the non-reimbursable financing allocated by the MRDT is 752.814,29 lei.
